Misc. Allie, wild rice is actually a grass seed that grows in Northern Saskatchewan lakes. Check in specialty shops. Otherwise you can order it from SIAP Marketing Co. Inc. Box 3003 Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Canada S6V 6G1. We eat it often mixed with white rice and stir fried with onion, celery, and mushrooms.
