RECIPE; Waldorf Salad #2

Misc.

Hi Jennifer,
I found this recipe in another old cookbook, (although I wouldn't exactly call this a recipe, however, it's from a book called "Everyday Foods" Authors: Harris & Lacey, Riverside Home Economics Series, publisher: Houghton/Mifflin Co. - 1927. This is exactly how it is written:
WALDORF OR APPLE SALAD
3 medium apples (l lb.) cut in small pieces; l c. sliced celery; l c. broken nutmeats-English walnuts, pecans, peanuts, or Brazil nuts; l c. mayonnaise. The walnut meats will darken if combined and allowed to stand.
