Hi Cheesehead,
told you it was cheap!
With that said i thought I give you a tip or two for cooking in the future as I recall these are from the frugal gormet, compiled from listening to him:
For no sticky rice:
Use LONG GRAIN rice ( I splurge and buy Mahatama)
thr ratio is 1 rice to 2 water
stove top 20 min peak and stir if you wnat, but do cover with asecure lid.
stir with fork when it is done
replace water with broth or just throw in a bullion cube or 2
little tea of butter is nice but not needed, esp if using broth..
yes 20 min and you can peak it's okay! really
Once I heard that i have done it and my rice is always great! I think it is the long grain that makes it good.
