Recipe(tried): Little Tavern Burgers - meat mixture

I grew up in Baltimore and my favorite food was Little Tavern Burgers. My Mom would take me shopping downtown on Saturdays and lunch was most often Little Tavern Burgers. The operator told Mom that their secret was to use 25% ground pork and 75% ground beef. I make these all the time for my grandkids and other family members. The recipe and method as on your posting is right but the meat mixture I have given you was from the mouth of the operator at the shop not far from Hutzlers and Lexington market.
