Remeber jar ...

Misc.

A tip I gave over the holidays was to make up little notes of encouragement and place themn in a jar with the instructions to remove and read one "hug" as needed ....

the idea seemed to play well here and with the kids i helped to make them at Christmas.

I encouraged the girls to write out "one reason i love you is because ...."
or "Remember when .... I really liked that day"

they should be short and to hte point. We put ours in canning jars with fabric tied over the lid -- you could go one futher and help her make up a SIMPLE cross stitch heart and glue it on the lid part with a little cotton behind it. then just put ribbon around ring. I even let the girls do a little coloring on the notes some with just a rainbow and no words ... you get the idea call it an "i love you jar"

so nice of you to take the time to do with your step daughter for BOTH parents :)

Have her do a watercolor heart with date and a cute i love you type verse then frame it?

let us know what you end up doing :)
