Request for Frozen Strawberry Jam

Misc.
Patricia L. E. on 10 June 1998 at 8.09 a.m.

I want to make Strawberry Jam using frozen/thawed straberries. My problem is I don't know what to do about eliminating excess water/juices after thawing.
Should I thaw the fruit completely and drain out the water, then measure the fruit for the number of cups needed?
Or, can the excess water/juices be eliminated by the cooking process?
Does anyone have a good recipe?
Thanks for any help offered.
Pat.
