Salt and bad luck

Misc.

G'day Sandy, The only thing I can add to your quest is:
If someone borrows some salt from you, it is considered bad luck to have the salt returned. A cup of sugar should be returned instead. It has something to do with the sweetness of sugar, you are wishing them 'good luck'. Angel.
