some clean kitchen "tips"
Misc.To make microwave clean-up a breeze ... heat add a good amount of Baking Soda to about 1/2 cup water, heat about 1-2 min, baked on stuff wipes rigt off!
Keep White vinigar on hand to remove lime build up around sinks and facuets.
Rub a crayon, the right color, over nicks in counter tops, helps ease the look of the 'mare' in a pinch works for shoes as well!
Save lemon and orange peels in frezzer and run some through garbage disposer every now and again for a fresh sent.
White vinigar, lemon juice, and baking soda are all good safe cleaning agents to use seperately or in combination with each other.
NEVER mix ammonia with a bleach or bleach product, vapors can kill.
Run some vinigar through the dishwasher and washing maching about 2x a yr.
Lighter fluid gets gooy stickers off stemware.
NEVER hang your kitchen towls over the oven doors handle, can catch fire!
Run toothbrushes through dishewasher every now and again.
Keep a small stool handy, saves a reach and back strain.
One I heard hear ... thouroghly clean stainless steel sink, then dry and rub with any type cooking oil, rub in good. Do this as needed to keep from getting spots ... about every 2 weeks? It works!!
Dishwasher not seemingly washing as well as once did? or are some of the dishes falling ... check the holes in the wash arms and clean with toothpick if
clogged.
Speaking of dishwashers is your 'noisy'? pull out and "wrap" with insulation, you know the pink stuff in attics! Put back in place, world of difference!
Buy and use aprons.
Do not let your silver touch bleach or bleach water.
Never use tarn-x. It will harm silver and does not "polish" buy a good poilch like Haggarties or Tarni-shield type cleaner. Tooth paste works in a pinch! Toothpaste works well for a lot of things ... rings too!
I'll think of more ...

Oh this is for you the maker ... I did similar for a friend and I put into one of those 3 ring binders with a clear cover that I could slip a letter into. stick a 3 ring pouch inside with a pen & pencil and extra paper at the end so she can make notes or add to it. And if you print the recipes from tkl by useing the print command they will look pretty and kinda fun for her to see who posted what ... but then the recipes would have to be posted individually .. maybe that won't work ... have fun!
