Sprucing up your pineapple~

Misc.
Hi Kelli - I am not sure about reviving the existing pineapple top but I have a few thoughts. Hopefully others will post ideas too.

Would you be able to perk up the existing top by dipping it in egg white and coating it with sugar granuals?

Or how about removing the less-than-lovely top completely and making your own top using fresh parsley, other fresh herbs, carrot curls, even fresh flowers. Olives and picked onions could be put on sticks and added to the "new" top.

And, celery sticks can be made to curl by slitting them lengthwise (to within 1" from the base)into tiny sticks and putting them in ice water.

No one needs to know the old top was droopy if you make the new one. Please let us know what you do, Kelli. Have fun!
