Suggestion in re: Yorkshire Pudding

Misc.

Hi Louise.

I understand that "batters" for Yorkshire pudding and Popovers are the same.

Days ahead of your dinner party -- I would try making popovers (in muffin tins) out of your Yorkshire pudding batter. Make them midday or early afternoon and see what happens? In other words time them. If they don't turn out exactly the way you want them to, you can always reheat them and serve them for that day's family dinner with a stew, or whatever. Should go good in cold weather.

A tip: When filling tins for popovers or Yorkshire pudding, place the preheated tins on the open oven door and pour the batter from a lipped pitcher or measuring cup. This way the tins won't cool down.

I love your dinner party menu. It's my favourite! Lorelee.
