Hello Sunny,

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I believe you should use gluten-free vanilla extract and the vanilla sugar is probably not a good idea. One word of caution - be careful asking these types of questions regarding safety issues with allergies on message boards. It's much too risky to base a decision on an anonymous reply. Someone meaning well may just take a guess and give you the wrong information.
