That's great, Linda, I think ....

Misc.

more men are cooking .... and some doing it well.

Some men, I think, become more interested if they have special 'appliances, tools, etc.'. My husband now makes all our Sunday omelets --- after I gave him a rather nice (2-egg) omelet pan about 6 years ago. He lines them up and does one after the other. I get the 'fillings' reading if we're having them filled and take care of the toast, etc.

He has always done the grilling (and he did cook off and on while single). Just this year he learned to make 'biscotti' .... he had never 'baked' before. He does good chowders/soups and a bunch of other things. Since retiring I think he takes a bit more interest in it. Of course - I PUSHED some of it! But he does enjoy it. And if we're both in the same cooking contest - he usually places ahead of me!
