So, what you're saying is that if I let the compost bucket get REALLY fermented, it'll take care of itself?! (All right!!!!)

Just kidding! I was coring pears yesterday for pear butter, and the darned things were pecking on the outside of the kitchen screens to get in. I've noticed that they're impossible to squash out of the air, but their take-off is a little slow. So there you have it. Ick.
