Recipe(tried): This is close to KFC Chix and gravy

Misc.

This was in Women's Day a number of years ago and it is very close to the original. For the gravy I sift the leftover flouring blend and add to it if needed.

juices from bottom and sides of pan. Make a paste ....
5 T. flour
1/2 c. water
Stir into boiling liquid; using a whip, continue stirring and boiling for 1 minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper; darken with a little gravy coloring, if you wish.

Note: When cutting up ckicken I like to fry the breasts, thighs,
legs. The remaining parts to be used to make broth.
