Peanut Blossoms (Jean Pare Company's Coming)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
PEANUT BLOSSOMS

1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup granulated sugar
72 chocolate buds or kisses

Measure first 10 ingredients into mixing bowl. Beat on low speed until a dough forms.

Shape into small (1-inch) balls. Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Do not press down.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Top with a chocolate kiss immediately. Press down until cookie cracks around the edges.

Makes about 6 dozen
