Thank You: Muscadine Jam - No Pectin - THANKS!

Misc.
Dear Judy,
You are a lifesaver! I looked everywhere & called quite a few people for a recipe without pectin - I know it would jell. They all started w/2 qts of grapes & 6 cups of sugar. I picked 6 1/2 lbs of Muscadines & had already pureed them & have 12 cups/3 qts. Couldn't find the conversion of puree to sugar (one cookbook said 3/4 to 1 for each cup) but when you've spent that much time on Grapes you don't want to screw up, you want to be sure! So THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH. Lots of Muscadines here wild everywhere. I also make wild black raspberry jam (seedless - have a Squeezo machine) & seedless wild blackberry & 6 other gourmet varieties. Would love to hear from you!
