ISO: Sheperds Pie or Chinese Pie (using hamburger, corn, potatoes)

I am looking for a recipe for sheperds pie (my father always called it chinese pie) i havent been able to find the one he used to make. it was hamburg corn and potatoes i beleive that was all there was for ingredients but im not sure how to cook or put it together.
