Recipe(tried): The Shepard Pie

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
I have made this easy form of a Shepards Pie for years and years(like over 40)It is not quite the same as what you are asking for but easy and very good!

1Lb Seasoned Ground Hamburger(browned and drained)
any seasoning salt is fine
2 cans ABC vegetable Cambells soup, drain the juice
I now buy the Country Crock Mashed potatoes as I am very lazy! Ha!!
American Cheese Slices

I season and brown the hamburger and drain it....add the soup and mix together, place cheese slices on top of this mixture and then spread the mashed potatoes on top of this mixture. You can add another layer of cheese slices but it's not necessary.

My children now make this at their homes!

Maybe it's not the same as your fathers, but it's great!
