Recipe(tried): Green Tomato Mincemeat

6 lbs. green tomatoes
2 lbs. tart apples
2 cups raisins
4 cup brown sugar
2 cups strong coffee
lemon peel grated and juice from 1 lemon
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice

Core and quarter tomatoes and apples. Chop in a food processor or grind coarsely. Place in a large pot. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 2 hours, stirring frequently. Pack into hot sterlized jars. Water bath for 25 minutes. Makes 8-10 pints.
