THE CABIN RESTAURANT'S WORLD FAMOUS BUTTERMILK PIE
1 cup sugar
1 1/3 tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
4 eggs
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 1/3 cups buttermilk
3/4 tsp vanilla
Unbaked pie shells
Combine sugar, corn starch and cinnamon in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with a hand mixer.
Add eggs, butter and vanilla then continue to mix thoroughly.
Fill pre-made pie shells almost full with mixture.
Bake in a cold oven set at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until golden brown Wrap and refrigerate pies aſter they cool until serving.
