Recipe: Applesauce Bran Muffins with Applesauce Glaze

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
APPLESAUCE BRAN MUFFINS

1 1/2 cups 100% Bran
1 1/2 cups applesauce
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Applesauce Glaze (recipe follows)

Blend first five ingredients together. Add last 4 ingredients. Back 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

APPLESAUCE GLAZE

1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. applesauce

Combine confectioner's sugar and applesauce until smooth. Drizzle over muffins while still warm.
