Recipe: Fruit Pancake Syrup (using Jello, Capper's Weekly recipe)

Breakfast and Brunch
FRUIT PANCAKE SYRUP

1 (4 oz) pkg. fruit flavor Jello (any flavor)
Scant 1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup water

Mix (dry) jello, sugar and cornstarch together in a saucepan. Add 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and simmer for a minute or so.

Best used while hot. It does "set up/gel" when it cools but can be reheated in the microwave and reused.
