ISO: Original Pancake House apple pancake

As a child I went to what I thought was a small Mom ans Pop restaurant, The Original Pancake House in Anaheim, Calif. They served the most incredible Apple Pancake ever!!! It's baked in a cast iron skillet then flipped over on a plate to reveal fresh apple slices smothered in a cinnamon glaze. It's enormous and enough for two. The batter is something I can't figure out. Imagime my surprise when I noticed the "old Logo" in Las Vegas and sure enough The Original Pancake House is a chain! If you don't know how to make this pancake at least go to the restaurant and order one. Thanks
