Recipe: Peanut Butter Fudge (using marshmallow cream, milk and confectioner's sugar)

PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup)
12 oz. jar peanut butter
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Place powdered sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in a buttered jelly roll pan. Let cool, then cut into squares.

PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE (using evaporated milk)

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 boxes (1 lb. each) powdered sugar
1 (1 lb.) jar peanut butter
1 (13 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Melt butter (oleo). Add milk and gradually stir in sugar. Cook until small ball forms when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, marshmallow cream and vanilla; Stir until well mixed. Stir in pecans, if using. Pour into a buttered dish or pan. Cool and cut into squares.
