Recipe(tried): Korean Croaker Pepper-Pot Soup

Minno Maeunt'ang(Korean Croaker Pepper-Pot Soup)

Ingredients:
1 croaket
1/4 lb. beef
1 zucchini
2 tbsp. red pepper paste
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. red pepper
sesame salt
10 sea mussels
red pepper
green pepper
3 cups rice water
green onion
radish
carrot

Method:
1. Cut the croaker into several large pieces.

2.Slicd the beef of the knife to tenderize. Season it with the red pepper paste, sesame oil, red pepper powder, garlic, black pepper and sesame salt.

3.Wash the sea mussels in salt water. Cut the zucchini, green pepper and red pepper into large pieces.

4.Stir-fry the seasoned beef and squash in a pan, add the rice water and bring to a boil.

5.When the soup boils, add the fish, flower-shaped carrot and radish pieces and boil again. Then add the sea mussels, green pepper, red pepper, and green onion and bring to a boil once more.

Hint:
1. You may use corvina or pollack instead of the croaker according to the season.
2. Croaker tastes better in summer during the breeding season and it may be used then for raw fish or fried fish dishes.
