Recipe: Kathie Lee Gifford's Spaghetti Sauce (meat sauce)

KATHIE LEE GIFFORD'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 pounds ground chuck or turkey
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
32 ounces tomato sauce
1 (12 oz) can tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Water (as needed)

Brown meat, onions and garlic in olive oil; drain.

Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add water as needed to adjust thickness.

Makes 10 servings
