Recipe: Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu (using condensed soup)

EASY CHICKEN CORDON BLEU

8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 very thin slices ham slices
8 slices Swiss cheese
1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Sauterne wine (or water)

Pound the chicken breasts until very thin.

Put 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. Fold, jelly roll style and secure with a toothpick. Place in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Mix (undiluted) chicken soup, sour cream and wine. Pour this mixture over the breasts.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Makes 8 servings
