Recipe: Lentil Loaf For Slicing

This is a wonderful recipe. I hope you enjoy it.

Lentil Loaf For Slicing

COOK & LEAVE RATHER THICK:

6 c. water
3 c. lentils
1 Lg. onion, chopped
4 T. soy sauce
2 stalks celery, chopped

IN LARGE BOWL:

Mash lentils
3 T. chicken-like seasoning
1 T. garlic powder
1 T. onion powder
2 tsp. basil
2 c. fine bread crumbs
1/2 c. walnuts

Bake in round juice cans in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Cool & slice.
Delicious on sandwichs or browned for a dinner entree with gravy.
