Recipe: Butterscotch Nut Fudge (using evaporated milk and marshmallow cream, 1950's)

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup white granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 cup marshmallow creme
Chopped nuts (as desired)
Combine all ingredients, except nuts, in a saucepan. Cook and stir, bringing to a full boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
Take off heat and stir in nuts. Stir until creamy. Pour into 8-inch square pan. Cool, then cut into squares.
Makes about 1 3/4 pounds
