Absolutely Apricot Bread

1 lb loaf

yeast 2 t.
dry milk 1 T..
bread flour 2 c.
salt 1 t.
butter 1 T.
apricot jam 3 T.
dried apricots, chopped 1/2 c.
water 3/4 c.

1 1/2 lb loaf **

yeast 3 t.
dry milk 2 T.
bread flour 3 c.
salt 1 1/2 t.
butter 2 T.
apricot jam 1/4 c.
dried apricots, chopped 3/4 c.
water 1 1/4 c.

Use light crust setting. Delayed timer mode okay. From Electric Bread.
**I added 3 T. sugar to my 1 1/2 lb loaf when I was dumping in the ingredients. My kids like a sweeter bread for their breakfast.Terrytx (09:56:24 AM) :

Cheese-Wine Bread

1/2 cup dry white wine
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup (8oz) shredded Monterey jack cheese or
Pepper jack cheese -- divided
1 pkg yeast

Place all but 1/2 the cheese into bread machine according to instructions. Add remaining cheese at the beep.

Sundried Tomato and Feta Cheese Bread

1 cup lukewarm water
1TBSP Tomato Paste
3 1/4 cups high grade flour
1tsp salt
1 TBSP sugar
1 TBSP milk powder
1TBSP olive oil
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
6 drained and chopped sundried tomatoes
3 tsp surebake yeast

Process in breadmaker as you would for a reg size white loaf. Additions can be added during kneading such as mint, parsley, or chopped spring onions. Terrytx (10:25:35 AM) :

Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Bread

Milk 10 ounces (1 1/4 cups)
Bread Flour 3 cups
Oats, quick or 3/4 cup
old fashioned
Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons
Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons
Ground cinnamon 1 1/2 teaspoons
Butter or margarine 2 tablespoons, cut into 4 pieces
Active Dry 2 1/4 teaspoons
Yeast OR Fast Rise Yeast 1 1/2 teaspoons
Raisins 1/2 cup

Bread Setting: Sweet

1. Add milk to bread pan.

2. Add bread flour, oats, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon to pan. Tap pan
to settle dry ingredients, then level dry ingredients, pushing some of the flour mixture into the corners. Place a piece of butter into each corner of the pan on top of the dry ingredients.

3. Make a slight well in the center of dry ingredients and add the yeast.

4. Put bread pan into machine and program machine, add raisins at the 'add fruit' beep.

Note. In the Zo I used the basic setting and light crust.
I also substitute Quaker Oats Brand Multi-Grain Cereal for the oatmeal most of the time.

Favorite Sour Dough Bread

1 cup starter
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Load into bread machine and use dough cycle. Remove to lightly floured surface and knead a few times to release air bubbles. Form into a tight round loaf. Cover and let rise 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Make a cross cut about 1/4" deep in top of loaf. Brush with cold water. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 15min., reduce heat to 350 and continue cooking for 10-15 min, or until golden brown and bread sounds hollow when tapped.

Almond Breakfast Bread

1 1/2 cups fat-free milk
4 cups bread flour
1/4 cup almond paste (not marzipan) cut into small pieces
2 tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 tap. salt
2 tbsp. margarine
1 tbsp. almond extract
2 tsp. active dry yeast

Place all ingredients into bread pan in listed order or according to manufacturers instructions. Set machine for regular white loaf, medium setting for crust. Makes one 2-pound loaf.

1/4 cup heavy or whipping cream
1 large egg
1 1/2 T. canola oil
3 T. sugar
1 1/2 cups peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped; fresh, frozen, or canned, well drained
1 1/2 tap. salt
3 1/2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. yeast

Place all of the ingredients into the pan of your bread machine according to the order listed. Program the machine for basic white bread, light crust setting, and press Start. Yield: 2 lb loaf.

BANANA OATMEAL BREAD
BREAD MACHINE

2 cups sliced RIPE bananas
1/4 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 T. salt
2 T. honey
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 t. dry milk powder
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
1 cup rolled oats
2 tsp. dry yeast

All the ingredients should be at room temperature before starting. Place the ingredients in the pan according to the directions for your bread machine. Select white bread setting. Press start. Remove the bread from the pan at the end of the baking cycle. Place bread on a cake rack for at least 1 hour before slicing. 2-lb loaf

BUTTERMILK BREAD

Everyone, except for my two "persnickety" eaters, that has tasted this bread has LOVED it. This recipe makes a 2 lb. loaf.

1 1/2-1 5/8 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup honey
2 tsp. salt
2 T. butter
4 cups bread flour
2 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

Place all ingredients in bread pan, select MEDIUM CRUST setting, and press start. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack, and allow to cool for 1
hour before slicing. 2-lb loaf
