Recipe: Angel Lush with Pineapple (using angel food cake) (1970's)

ANGEL LUSH WITH PINEAPPLE

1 (4-serving size) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
1 cup thawed Cool Whip
1 angel food cake
1 cup mixed berries (for serving)

Mix dry pudding mix and pineapple in medium bowl. Gently stir in Cool Whip; set aside.

Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers. Place bottom cake layer on serving plate; top with 1/3 of pudding mix. Repeat layers 2 times.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Top with berries just before serving.
