Recipe: Asian Turkey Burgers

1 3/4 pounds ground turkey
1 1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon peeled, minced fresh ginger
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro leaves
Vegetable oil
TO SERVE:
4 toasted sesame seed buns
Store-bought or homemade wasabi mayonnaise
In a large bowl, gently mix together all ingredients except vegetable oil, buns and mayonnaise. Form into 4 patties, each 1 inch thick.
Lightly oil a grill or heat a little vegetable oil in a skillet. Grill or cook burgers (stove-top) over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
Serve on buns topped with wasabi mayonnaise.
Makes 4 servings
