Recipe(tried): Baked Lima Beans

Vicki, I hope this is somewhat like you are looking for. happy holidays.

Baked Lima Beans

1 1/2 pounds dry lima beans
1 pound bacon
1 pint tomato juice
1 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Prepare and cook beans according to package directions. Drain off 1/2 of the water. Fry, drain, and crumble bacon. combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased casserole or baking pan. Bake at 350 degress for 45minutes to an hour, stirring frequently.
