Recipe: BANANA SPLIT CAKE x2

BANANA SPLIT CAKE

1/2 box white cake mix
1/2 box confectioners sugar
3 to 4 ripe bananas, sliced
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sliced strawberries

Bake cake as directed on box. Cool. Mix bananas with
confectioners sugar, butter and milk. Add vanilla. Spread
over cake. Spread 1/2 strawberries over mixture. Mix Dream
Whip and spread over strawberries. Spread rest of strawberries
over Dream Whip. Chill thoroughly. Takes 4 packages of Dream
Whip.

BANANA SPLIT CAKE

1 box yellow or white cake mix
1 ripe banana
1 (3 oz.) small carton frozen
strawberries
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. pineapple preserves
1/4 c. water
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1/2 c. milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant
pudding (dry)

Mix cake mix in accordance with package directions.
Divide cake batter into 3 parts. To part #1 add the banana; to
part #2 add 1/2 of the strawberries. Mix the cocoa and sugar
with enough hot water to make a paste; add to part #3. Bake 20
to 30 minutes or until done. Combine the Cool Whip, milk,
pudding mix and pineapple preserves, blending well. Spread on
cool layers; garnish with remaining strawberries.
