Recipe(tried): Bath Salts

Crafts
This is a great recipe I've had for years. However, I only knew it without specific measurments. I found this recipe with measurements in a Heloise column. It is the same as I have always used and the glycerin adds a nice soft touch to your skin.

I hope you all enjoy!

Bath Salts

3 cups Epsom salts
1 Tbsp. glycerin (found in the pharmacy of grocery store)
2 drops of fragrance or essential oil
1-2 drops food coloring*

Pour salts into a glass bowl (plastic may stain). In another glass bowl or cup, mix glycerin, scent and coloring. Add to salts, stirring to mix thoroughly. Add more scent or coloring until desired effect is obtained. You can also wait to color it until all other ingredients have been mixed and separate it into many glass bowl or cups and make many different colors. This is fun to make a jar of rainbow colors to give as a gift. Use 1/2 c per bath.

*optional, may stain a bathtub
