John, Here is a yummy recipe that I have used countless times. It's one of my families favorites and I received it from a friend that lives in Omaha :) Hope this is what you were looking for!
Beer Cheese Sauce
4 Tbsp. Mayonaise ( I use miracle whip)
4 Tbsp. Flour
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 can beer
1 (8 oz.) jar of cheez whiz
Blend the above ingredients in a saucepan (At first I use a whisk as it helps to break down the mayonaise and flour). Stir over medium to low heat for about 20 minutes of until sauce thickens. Serves 4 (depending on how much sauce you like.) Serve over pasta and enjoy!
