Recipe(tried): Bing Cherry Jello Salad

This recipe was one of my mom's favorites and most requested. Hope you enjoy it!

Bing Cherry Jello Salad

1 small package cherry jello
1 can bing cherries (save juice)
1 small can crushed pineapple (save juice)
1/2 cup port wine
1 cup chopped walnuts (if desired)

Heat 1 1/2 cups fluid (cherry juice, pineapple juice and water) to a boil. Add hot fluid to the jello mix in a bowl. Stir until dissolved. Add cherries, pineapple and walnuts. Stir well. Add port wine to mixture. Pour into jello mold.

This jello goes wonderfully with prime rib, ham, roast chicken. It will be a must have after the first time you try it.
