BISCUIT BURGERS
3/4 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (10 biscuits)
Mustard, catsup, pickle relish
5 slices onion
5 slices (5 ounces) process American cheese
Combine ground beef and salt; shape into 5 patties. Brown in hot oil; drain.
On lightly floured surface, roll each biscuit to a 5-inch circle. Spread 5 of the circles with a little mustard and catsup. Place beef patty on each; top with pickle relish and an onion slice. Moisten edges; cover with remaining biscuit circles. Press edges together with a fork; prick tops.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet in 375 degree F oven for 15 to 17 minutes.
Place cheese slice atop each; return to oven to melt cheese.
Makes 5 servings
