Recipe(tried): Boiled Peanuts

Hi Emily! Do you lke boiled peanuts? They can be frozen and heated in Microwave or in hot water.Heres recipe;
Boiled Peanuts
4 pounds green penuts, in shell
6 quarts water
6-10 Tablespoons salt

Select and wash peanuts. Place in large kettle with water and salt. Cover, bring to boil and slowly boil for 1 1/2 - to 2 hours. Water will be briny. More water and salt may be added durring cooking if necassary. Test for doneness. Peanuts should be soft inside, but not mushy. Aloow to soak for 30 minutes.

Note; Peanuts may be frozen in pastic bags after cooling.
