Recipe: Chef Andy's Mardi Gras Cajun Rub (no salt)
Herbs and SpicesCHEF ANDY'S MARDI GRAS CAJUN RUB
1/2 cup paprika
1 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tbsp. dried lemon peel
1/2 tbsp. gumbo file
Combine ingredients. Use as a dry rub for chicken, pork, fish, etc.
