Recipe: Turkey Broccoli Bake (using gravy mix, sour cream and curry powder)

TURKEY BROCCOLI BAKE
"A great recipe to use for leftover turkey!"



2 envelopes Durkee Turkey Gravy Mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon Durkee Ground Mustard
1/4 teaspoon Durkee Ground Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Durkee Curry Powder
1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli cuts or spears, thawed
8 ounces sliced cooked turkey (or 2 cups chopped, cooked turkey)
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup seasoned stuffing mix
2 tablespoons slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine turkey gravy mix and 1 1/2 cups water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, mustard, pepper and curry powder.

Layer broccoli, turkey and mushrooms in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Top with gravy mixture. Sprinkle with stuffing mix and almonds.

Bake for 20 minutes or until casserole is hot and bubbly.
