Recipe: Chicken Cacciatore (crock pot)

I just got my crock pot, so I've not tried this recipe yet, but I will soon.

CHICKEN CACCIATORE

1 1/2 pounds bones, skinless chicken (breast or thighs)
1 (1 lb. 10 oz.) jar pasta sauce
1 small green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
3 Tbsp. dry sherry (or chicken broth)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Hot cooked rice (for serving)

Arrange chicken in cock pot. Add remaining ingredients, except rice.

Cover crock pot and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours or on HIGH for 4-6 hours or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Serve over hot cooked rice.
