Recipe: Chicken Delight (using canned soup, chicken breasts, mushrooms, and cheese)

2 large boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, cut into strips
1/4 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup milk
1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheese
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons sherry
hot cooked rice (for serving)
Saute chicken in butter with garlic. Remove chicken and garlic with a slotted spoon. Set aside.
Add mushrooms and onions to pan and cook until tender.
Stir in milk, soup, cheese, Dijon mustard and sherry. Add chicken and garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve over rice.
