Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, BarsJessica, I'm not sure this is what you are looking for can you post more of the ingredients that you remember? This one uses marshmallows, but there's a way to substitute marshmallow creme, tho I'm not sure on the details.
CONFETTI POPCORN BARS
1 (3.5 oz) bag Pillsbury Microwave Popcorn
1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces* (or 1/3 cup unsalted peanuts)
1/2 cup small gumdrops*
2 cups miniature marshmallows
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
Grease 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Prepare popcorn as directed on pkg. Remove any unpopped kernels.
In large greased bowl, combine popcorn with candy and peanuts.
In 4-cup Microwave-safe measuring cup, place marshmallows and margarine. Microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2-2 minutes, or until melted and smooth, stirring once halfway through cooking.
Pour marshmallow mixture over popcorn mixture; toss until evenly coated. With buttered hands, press mixture into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into bars.
*Red and green candies or gumdrops are often available at holiday time.
Makes 16 bars
