Recipe(tried): Country Pork Ribs

Jill I just tried this one last week. I rarely cook exactly from a recipe so I
don't have the exact measures. I read it in the paper then tried it.

Here goes:
4 country pork ribs- trimmed of excess fat
flour
creole seasoning
2 T. oil
Mix seasoning with flour. Dredge ribs in flour to coat. Brown ribs in hot
skillet with small amount of oil. When browned add:
1 onion sliced thin
1 bell pepper- sliced thin
1 teaspoon garlic crushed
1 cup red wine
1/2 c. water
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms- sliced
salt and pepper to taste

Lower heat to simmer, cover skillet and cook for about 45 minutes.Ribs come out nice and tender with a luscious sauce.

I served with brown rice and a spinach casserole.
