Recipe: Cranberry Cream Cheese topping

Here's an idea: stir 1 TB cranberry sauce into 1-2 TB cream cheese if you're just serving yourself. You can always add more cranberry sauce if you like.

If you want to pack a crock with this mixture, I'd recommend using a softened brick of cream cheese (8 oz.) with 1 cup of jellied cranberry sauce that's been broken up with a fork; first cream the cream cheese on high with an electric mixer, then reduce the speed to low/fold speed, and drop spoonfuls of the cranberry sauce into it. If you use the jellied type of cranberry sauce, the end product will be quite fluffy and smooth. If you use the whole sauce, there will be streaks of cranberry pulp throughout.
