Recipe(tried): Cream Horn Morsels

Misc.

Quick and Easy Lite Party Dessert Bites

Petite cup cake papers
1 lg carton Cool Whip, refrigerator temp, thawed
4 fresh cream horns (already filled)
Pastry bag with decorative star tube
Decorative candies, colored sugar (opt)
Cutting Board
Serrated knife (necessary)

On cutting board, cut cream horn (with serrated knife) into 1/2 inch or finger thick "rounds". Place each round into individual cake paper. After all rounds are in papers, top each round by piping a Cool Whip swirl using pastry bag.
Refrigerate in airtight plastic container if serving same day made.
May be placed in airtight plastic container, frozen. Transport frozen.
Just before serving, sprinkle with decorative candies or colored sugar.
Can be assembled on site using Reddie Whip canister.

4 cream horns will make about one 9x13 inch cake container of Bites.
I've been making these morsels for many years and these bites always disappear quickly at the parties to which I take them. Kids and adults like them.

PS You can keep frozen, filled cream horns on hand with Cool Whip in freezor.
Great unplanned, last minute, no-bake, hot weather dessert. Festive for Christmas and New Year also.
