Creamy Fettuccine Primavera

4 (1 1/2 cup) servings

8 oz. uncooked fettuccine
1 1-lb. pkg Green Giant select frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower,thawed
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tsp. garlic salt

Cook fettuccine in dutch oven or large saucepan to desired doneness, adding vegetables during last 5 minutes of cooking time. Meanwhile, in small saucepan combine cream cheese, milk and garlic salt; mix well. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Drain fettuccine and vegetables; return to dutch oven. Add cream cheese mixture; toss gently over low heat until well combined. If desired, add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with grated fresh parmesan cheese.

This recipe is from Pillsbury Quick & Easy cookbook. I serve with salad and garlic toast.
