Recipe(tried): Dead easy and tastey beef stroganoff
Misc.Enough for 2
500g of steak (cut into cubes)
1 small to medium onion
1 cup of mushrooms
1 tub(300ml) of sour cream
1 tblespn lemon juice (can be squeezy bottle stuff)
salt&pepper
Firstly sautee the onion in a little oil, throw in the steak
pieces and add a sprinkle of salt and a good sprinkle of ground black pepper. Cook for 5 min, if even, then throw in your sliced(chunky slices) mushroom. after maybe 2 min add your sour cream ( the tubs that have garlic and parsley in them are ideal, add lots of flavour with no extra cost) the sauce will turn a grey brown (this is normal). It needs no more cooking just warm the cream through add a good squeeze of lemon juice and your done.some extra parsley is always good but not necessary.
Serve with a decent portion of really thin cut chips, or french fries (mc Cain do lovely seasoned, frozen, oven bake, thin cut ones that are delish)
