I tried the Dixie Decadence. It wasn't bad but wasn't something I'd make again - just too sweet.

If you're looking to make an orange chocolate version of my quickie dessert, you might first try mashing grated orange or tangerine peel into the sugar. Then perhaps add chopped candies peel instead of fruit segments --- I've always thought the high liquid content of citrus could be a problem here. A touch of orange liquor might be nice though, with well-dried mandarin segments on top only.

The good news is that even the mistakes are delicious ;)
